My father like a shade in a blazing sun,

He helps and guides me in the life’s run.

Having the qualities of a perfect man,

He is very serious but also likes fun.

He works hard & good things he says,

He earns honestly & hates unfair ways.

He is like a ray of light in despair,

Also becomes angry but very rare.

He loves dearly his children & wife,

Thus plays central role in our life.

God may give him also my age; 
Without him I’m like bird in cage
